Meet Our Grief Group Facilitator

Ruby Green, B.S (Non-clinical)
Hi I’m Ruby Green and I am the Grief Support Group Facilitator.
In 2018 my son passed away, one of the hardest things that I have ever experienced in my whole entire life! The loss of a child changes you in ways that are impossible to fully explain, and each day since has required learning how to breathe, live, and love again while carrying that absence.
This experience yet a very painful one has taught me so much about grief and how to cope with the constant longing for my son. Grief is not something that simply goes away—it evolves, it lingers, and it asks to be acknowledged. Through my own journey, I have learned the importance of having space to be honest, to be heard, and to feel understood without judgment or expectation.
Grief is a deeply personal journey, and no two experiences of loss are the same. For many, it can feel isolating, overwhelming, and difficult to put into words. It takes courage to acknowledge that pain and even more courage to invite others into it.
My goal for this group is to create a safe place for anyone that has experienced loss to be able to come, share and receive support through conversation and connection. This is a space where tears are welcome, silence is respected, stories are honored, and no one is pressured to “move on”.
If this sounds like something that you are needing, please join us as we navigate grief together! You do not have to walk this road alone. Healing does not mean forgetting—it means learning how to carry love and loss side by side, together.
